Job Title: Quality Documentation Technician
Reports to: Quality manager
FLSA Status: Non-exempt
Schedule: 5 x 8 hour shifts - M-F
Summary of duties and responsibilities:
A Quality Documentation Technician will perform any or all the following tasks in a safe and timely manner:
Primary duties and responsibilities:
- Responsible for generation Process Flow Diagrams, PFMEAS’s, Control Plans, and Checksheets based on AIAG and customer specific standards.
- Perform inspections on finished parts to measure and document Quality Process.
- Enter print Data on the above listed documents.
- Responsible for developing assigned work instructions.
- Responsible for revisions and record retention of above listed documents.
- Will assist with miscellaneous audits as assigned.
- Use computers and associated software to measure, document, and present information, specifically Plex ERP system.
- Manipulate small objects, such as measuring devices on a routine basis.
Education, prior work experience and specialized skills and knowledge:
- Experience with part print reading, GD&T, and AIAG Process Flow Diagrams, PFMEA’s and Control Plans.
- Ability to create a bubble print.
- Understanding of bill of materials (BOM) and manufacturing operations routings and processes.
- Computer literacy
- Must be able to enter data and/or required information into computer system.
- Excellent attendance, attitude, and communication skills.

- Initiative – capable and willing to make decisions and take action with limited direction
- Strong organizational and time management skills to be able to handle multiple assignments with varying degrees of complexity and completion dates.
Physical environment/working conditions:
The position is in the factory and could involve sitting, standing, walking, and lifting for long periods of time throughout the day.
