Job Summary & Essential Functions

Responsible for ensuring Electrostatic Discharge (ESD) compliance across the manufacturing environment while supporting Quality Engineering and inspection activities. 

  • Set up and maintain ESD-controlled workstations and production areas
  • Perform scheduled compliance audits and record test data
  • Monitor ESD equipment, calibration, and labeling
  • Identify risks, report findings, and support corrective actions
  • Maintain ESD logs, documentation, and certification records
  • Promote ESD awareness and best practices on the production floor
  • Support receiving, in-process, and final inspections
  • Assist with inspection plans and work instructions
  • Help define inspection criteria for PCB and electro-mechanical assemblies
  • Participate in nonconformance review and investigations
  • Compile inspection/test data and maintain quality records
  • Support QMS and quality engineering initiatives

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities

  • Understanding of ESD standards and audit practices preferred
  • Ability to read technical documents and specifications
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Effective communication and multitasking ability
  • Proficiency in MS Office; ERP/SharePoint a plus

Required Experience & Education

  • High school diploma required; Associate degree preferred
  • 2+ years manufacturing or quality experience preferred
  • Experience in ESD-controlled environments strongly preferred
  • PCB or cable assembly experience a plus
