The Quality Technician inspects materials and products for conformance to specifications.
Functions of Quality Technician (Automotive Manufacturing):
- Issue first piece inspection using standard measurement tools including CMM, calipers, micrometers, indicators, height gages, and profilometers.
- Inspect incoming, outgoing, and in-process material and or parts for non-conformities.
- Report inspection findings to the appropriate departments in a professional manner when applicable.
- Participate in Root Cause/5Y and troubleshooting meetings as needed.
- Know the Quality and Environmental policy and their objectives.
- Follows all safety, environment and quality procedures and instructions.
- Adheres to all employment rules and regulations.
- Understand and implement Drake Driven Core Values into everyday work habits.

Requirements
- Read and interpret blueprints
- Strong computer skills including Office 365 (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Experience using Calipers and Micrometers
