** THIS POSITION IS OPEN FOR 2ND SHIFT (3:15 pm - 11:45 pm) and 3RD SHIFT (11:30 pm - 7:15 am) CURRENTLY ***

The Quality Technician inspects materials and products for conformance to specifications.

Functions of Quality Technician (Automotive Manufacturing):

• Issue first piece inspection using standard measurement tools including CMM, calipers, micrometers, indicators, height gages, and profilometers.
• Inspect incoming, outgoing, and in-process material and or parts for non-conformities.
• Report inspection findings to the appropriate departments in a professional manner when applicable.
• Participate in Root Cause/5Y and troubleshooting meetings as needed.
• Know the Quality and Environmental policy and their objectives.
• Follows all safety, environment and quality procedures and instructions.
• Adheres to all employment rules and regulations.
• Understand and implement Drake Driven Core Values into everyday work habits.

Requirements

• Read and interpret blueprints
• Strong computer skills including Office 365 (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Experience using Calipers and Micrometers
