Job Description

We are seeking a Quality Technician / CMM Operator to join a well-established precision manufacturer in Downers Grove, IL. This is a full-time, direct-hire position on the 2nd shift with excellent benefits and long-term career growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and program CMM (Coordinate Measuring Machines) and related inspection equipment

• Perform detailed inspections of precision components to ensure compliance with strict quality standards

• Document inspection results and maintain quality records

• Collaborate with production and engineering teams to resolve quality issues

• Support continuous improvement efforts in quality assurance processes

Qualifications

• 2+ years of quality inspection experience in a manufacturing environment (aerospace/precision manufacturing a plus)

• Hands-on experience with CMM operation (programming experience preferred, not always required)

• Familiarity with precision measurement tools (micrometers, calipers, gauges, etc.)

• Strong attention to detail and ability to read/interpret technical drawings (GD&T)

• Willingness to work 2nd shift full-time
