This position involves 1st piece inspection of metal stampings, in process inspection, and last off inspection using measuring tools including, but not limited to calipers, micrometers, and optical comparator.
Position Hours: Monday-Friday 5:00 am - 3:30 pm, Saturday's 5:00 am-11:00 am (occasional)
Responsibilities/ Requirements
- Inspect and maintain Calibrations.
- Follow the blueprints GD&T.
- PLEX
- Perform 1st piece, in process and last off inspections in plex.
- Calibration assignments.
- Properly perform all part inspections as required.
- Must have experience with micrometer, calipers, torque wrenches, hand gages, fixtures, optical comparator, tensile tester, ultrasound machine
- Hi-Lo experience
- Must be able to walk anywhere from 4-8 miles
Skills
- Optical Comparators
- Common knowledge with hand measuring devices, height gages, tensile machine, pushout machine, torque wrenches, and hardness tester.
