JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Inspect, reject, or accept products according to visual standards, weight, tally, and other Q.C. requirements.
- Documentation and recordkeeping
- Control the removal of monograms from non-conforming products
- Wear appropriate PPE
- Comply with all NOV Company policies, guidelines, and procedures
- Comply with all HSE policies, guidelines and procedures
- Comply with all Quality policies, guidelines, and procedures
- Other duties as assigned
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Factory environments with a large range of temperature changes
- Standing up to 12 hours daily
- Walking up to 12 hours daily
- Bending/Stooping up to 12 hours daily
- Repetitive Movement (shoveling/sweeping/fastening) up to 12 hours daily
- Lifting weights up to 50 lbs. Regularly
- Push/Pull up to 12 hours daily
- Travel less than 10%
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
- High School diploma or equivalent required
- 0-2 years of relatable quality control experience within a manufacturing environment
- Must be able to work DAY SHIFT.
- 3 years of verifiable work experience
- Forklift license preferred
- Experience with databases and Microsoft Excel is considered an asset
- Trained into ISO 9001 preferred
- Basic math
- Ability to accurately use scales, OD tape, ruler, thread height gauge
- Ability to adapt and be cross-trained to learn all job duties as required
- Ability to learn technical repair and assembly guidelines and procedures
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to read drawings, instructions, or repair and assembly operations
