Job Description

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Inspect, reject, or accept products according to visual standards, weight, tally, and other Q.C. requirements. 
• Documentation and recordkeeping 
• Control the removal of monograms from non-conforming products 
• Wear appropriate PPE
• Comply with all NOV Company policies, guidelines, and procedures
• Comply with all HSE policies, guidelines and procedures
• Comply with all Quality policies, guidelines, and procedures 
• Other duties as assigned 

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Factory environments with a large range of temperature changes
• Standing up to 12 hours daily 
• Walking up to 12 hours daily  
• Bending/Stooping up to 12 hours daily  
• Repetitive Movement (shoveling/sweeping/fastening) up to 12 hours daily 
• Lifting weights up to 50 lbs. Regularly 
• Push/Pull up to 12 hours daily
• Travel less than 10%

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

• ​​High School diploma or equivalent required
• 0-2 years of relatable quality control experience within a manufacturing environment
• Must be able to work DAY SHIFT.
• 3 years of verifiable work experience
• ​Forklift license​ preferred
• Experience with databases and Microsoft Excel is considered an asset
• Trained into ISO 9001 preferred
• Basic math
• Ability to accurately use scales, OD tape, ruler, thread height gauge
• Ability to adapt and be cross-trained to learn all job duties as required 
• Ability to learn technical repair and assembly guidelines and procedures 
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment 
• Ability to read drawings, instructions, or repair and assembly operations
