Hood Packaging is currently recruiting for a Quality Technician -SQF Practitioner  for our Tifton, Ga facility who will be responsible for assisting the Quality Manager Assist in ensuring HACCP, GMP’s Work Instructions, and food safety requirements are in compliance. 

• Effectively work with other associates in the department to promote team spirit.
• Performs quality audits of products, procedures and operations to assure compliance of established quality and manufacturing standards.
• Documents and reports results of dock audits.
• Assist in the preparation of statistical data in quality, productivity and scrap.
• Assist in tracking of internal failure regarding cause and corrective action.
• Controls special quality projects as assigned. 
• Informs supervisor of quality related problems.
• Calibration of equipment.
• Assist in the performance of documentation of rework as needed. 
• Conduct inventory of hold inventory and non-conforming areas (weekly).
• Perform other job related duties as assigned by manager.
