**POSITION SUMMARY:
**
High precision micro component company seeks a Level I Quality Technician to support manufacturing. Successful candidate will have knowledge of quality systems, manufacturing and inspection methods and demonstrate the company core values, People, Integrity, and Excellence, in all aspects of their assigned duties and responsibilities.
**ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
**
Perform inspection using established documentation and guidelines
Data collection as required by Quality Engineer
Provide feedback to Quality personnel on inspection outputs
Assist quality personnel in performing measurement system analysis and process improvement
Review, audit, and redline procedures for continuous improvement activities
Employee will be required to perform other duties as requested, directed or assigned.
**QUALIFICATIONS:
**
Candidate must have a minimum of 2 years of experience working in inspection in a manufacturing environment or relevant education.
A background in the inspecting of piece parts, assemblies and final devices using documented specifications and procedures.
Familiarity with ISO 9001 and ISO 13485.
Be proficient at blueprint reading and the use of common inspection tools and equipment.
Experience in the use of hand tools and automated inspection equipment is a plus.
Be computer literate and have a working knowledge of Microsoft Office Products.
Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
Effective communication and technical writing skills.
