Job Description

A local remanufacturing company is currently seeking a Quality Technician to work with the Quality Manager ensuring all gauges are calibrated per the requirements, and at the proper frequency. This associate will also conduct sediment testing of parts and washers. The ideal candidate will have Quality Control experience, and knowledge of ISO certification. Performing product quality inspections and line audits

• Conducting audits of Work Instructions, Control Plans, Process Flow Charts, and PFMEA's

• Performing root cause analysis of warranty returns and generating warranty analysis reports

• Troubleshooting failed units from line inspections and performing build procedure inspections

• Ensuring all precision measuring devices and qualifying gauges are properly functioning

• Ensuring all gauges are calibrated per the requirements and at the proper frequency

• Conducting sediment testing of product

• Conducting titration evaluation of washers

• Enforcing company policies, procedures, and requirements of IATF 16949 and ISO 14001

• Reporting sub-standard quality to Quality Manager

• Additional duties as requested

Other Requirements:

• Mechanical background
• Knowledge of torque converters
• Writing, and modifying quality and product procedures
• Proficient in computers and math
• Microsoft Office
• Lifting 30-60 lbs
• High School Diploma, or equivalent

Must be available M-F 7:00 am-3:30 pm

You should be proficient in:

• Quality Inspection Experience
• ISO 22000
• Quality Control Experience
