We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Technician I to perform quality inspections on manufactured products and incoming materials. The ideal candidate will have hands-on quality inspection experience, strong attention to detail, and the ability to read blueprints and specifications.
This position is ideal for someone with 2–4 years of quality inspection experience in a manufacturing or production environment who is comfortable using basic inspection and measurement tools.
Inspect manufactured products for dimensional accuracy, workmanship, finish, form, fit, and function according to blueprints and specifications.
Perform in-process inspections to ensure products meet established quality requirements.
Inspect incoming materials and verify certifications for compliance with specifications.
Use calipers, micrometers, and other common inspection tools to perform dimensional measurements.
Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, specifications, and quality documentation.
Maintain accurate quality records and follow Good Documentation Practices (GDP).
Review certification packages and release products for shipment through the ERP system.
Enter and maintain quality information in the ERP system, including DMR/NCMR documentation when required.
Maintain organized electronic quality and certification records.
Ensure inspection activities are completed accurately and on schedule to support production and customer deliveries.
Assist the Lead Inspector and Quality Department Manager with quality-related tasks and projects.
Follow all applicable company quality, safety, and manufacturing procedures.
Perform other duties as assigned.
High School Diploma or GED.
2–4 years of quality inspection experience strongly preferred.
Hands-on experience using calipers, micrometers, and basic inspection equipment.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and specifications.
Strong attention to detail and consistency.
Experience working in a manufacturing or smaller production environment.
Ability to accurately document inspection results and maintain quality records.
Experience with Visual Measuring Systems (VMS).
Experience with ERP systems and electronic quality documentation.
Knowledge of manufacturing inspection techniques and quality standards.
Experience performing incoming, in-process, and final inspections.
$23.00/hour starting pay
1st shift: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
