Job Description

A family-run engineering company specializing in precision spring technologies for the automotive industry is looking for a Quality Technician to join their team. The Quality Technician will work to ensure the overall quality of the manufactured automotive parts and will support and promote plant wide continuous improvement efforts. This is a small company where you will wear many hats--a true team player will be required.

Quality Assurance / Quality Control Responsibilities / Duties:

• Interact and work closely with entire operations team to emphasize processes and procedures that are to be followed.

• Responsible to maintain ISO9001 and CQI-9 certification status.

• Participate and conduct Internal QMS audits.

• Work on continual improvements to enhance the quality system.

Job Requirements:

• 3+ years of Quality Control experience in manufacturing--automotive experience a plus
• Working knowledge and experience with a Quality Management System (QMS); i.e. ISO 9001:2015.
• Proficient in Microsoft: Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel and Word.
• Experience with developing Quality Control Procedures and training
