Job Description

Aegis is seeking a Quality Technician to join our client's organization. This role is a contract to hire position! The ideal candidate has the following experience:

• 1-3 years of quality experience (Technician, inspector calibration, etc.)
• Enjoys working in a fast paced environment
• Foundational exposure with visual and dimensional inspection/measurement tools; gages, calipers, calibrating tools, micrometers. etc.
• Basic understand of mechanical blueprints

Pluses:

• Experience in CNC machining environment – can be a machine shop, equipment building, assembly environment, etc.
• PPAP & ISIR documentation familiarity
• Mechanical Hobbies
• Strong computer skills – inputting and tracking data within an ERP & excel system would be a plus.

You should be proficient in:

• Field Measurements
• Advanced Inspection & Gauge Measurement
• AS9100 Experience
• Blueprint Reading
