Quality Technician

1st Shift/$17-$20/hr/Full Time

Greencastle, IN

Overview:

Aegis Worldwide is curently partnered with a Tier 1 Supplier to SIA where they supply the interior and exterior trim parts of the Subaru vehicles including the door panels. Here their products are plastic molded, painted, and assembled before being sent out.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree or technical certification in a related field preferred.
• Proven experience in quality control or inspection role, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of quality management principles, practices, and methodologies.
• Proficiency in using measuring tools and equipment, such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in performing inspections and recording data.
• Effective problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and address quality issues in a timely manner.

Responsibilites:

• Conduct inspections and tests on incoming materials, in-process production, and finished products to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications.
• Perform dimensional, visual, and functional inspections using various measuring tools and equipment.
• Record and analyze inspection and test data, identifying trends, patterns, and areas for improvement.
• Investigate non-conformances and deviations from quality standards, collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
• Maintain accurate documentation of inspection and test results, including inspection reports, test logs, and quality records.
• Assist in the development and implementation of quality control procedures, work instructions, and standards.
