Job Overview:

The Quality Specialist will be responsible for ensuring the Rapid Response Center meets all QMS requirements in the course of business. This includes coordinating, facilitating, and maintaining records that drive adherence to the overall quality program.  This role will promote continuous improvement and a collaborative environment to ensure compliance and growth in program elements within the Rapid Response Center and work closely with the QESH managers throughout the network.

 

In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

  • Ensure quality program compliance at the Rapid Response Center
  • Responsible for the CAR & NCR process 
  • Lead quality issue resolution activities, including driving corrective actions across the Rapid Response Center
  • Identify and act on any immediate quality concerns and notify management 
  • Prepare and conduct all required Quality audits for the site
  • Coordinate and direct pre-audit and post-audit meetings and bring resolutions to close
  • Responsible for preparing, delivering, and monitoring all quality training for all employees at the site
  • Maintain welder certifications and review welder continuity logs for compliance
  • Provide administrative support for all QA intensive orders received from Impact Partners
  • Provide QMS technical support to meet operational objectives
  • Regularly report to Management on the status and effectiveness of the Quality Program
  • Participate, if asked, in audits for both Emerson and Premier Service Provider facilities.
  • Analyze audit results to diagnose areas in need of improvement.
  • Drive stakeholder agreement on any findings from the audit processes to develop actionable plans for improvements.
  • Continuously review and improve the quality culture of the organization

 

For This Role, You Will Need:

  • High School diploma and 4+ year of previous industry related experience OR an Associate’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Inventory Control, Quality Management or a related field with a combination of previous service work experience. 
  • 3+ years of experience in auditing or inspecting required 
  • Effective oral and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead by influence
  • Thorough understanding of Quality Assurance processes.
  • Strong problem-solving skill to be able to uncover root causes to difficult problems

 

Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:

  • 5+ years of experience in auditing or inspecting perferred
  • Quality maintenance experience is preferred
  • Understanding or work experience with Fisher and Final Control product preferred
  • ASME & ANSI experience preferred
  • ASME Sec lX knowledge and experience preferred
