We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Quality Tech, Level 3 to join our team in Hatboro, PA. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring that our products meet the highest quality standards. Responsibilities

Conduct thorough inspections and tests on incoming materials, in-process components, and finished products.

  • Document and report quality issues, ensuring compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with production teams to identify and resolve quality-related problems.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of quality control procedures and protocols.
  • Participate in root cause analysis and corrective action processes.
  • Train and mentor junior quality technicians on best practices and quality standards.
  • Maintain accurate records of inspections, tests, and quality metrics.
  • Demonstrated proficiency with advanced metrology equipment, including but not limited to:

- Vision-based measuring systems (optical comparators, profilometers, digital microscopes)

- Laser and probe-based metrology systems

- Roundness and cylindricity measurement tools

- Surface finish and form testers

- Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM), both manual and automated

A QT3 is a highly skilled inspection professional who demonstrates mastery in the use of advanced metrology tools and applies deep knowledge of drawings and specifications, including GD&T, to evaluate manufactured parts and assemblies. The QT3 ensures regulatory compliance through accurate, timely inspections and serves as a technical leader among peers. They play a critical role in First Article Inspections (FAI), spot checks, and final inspection and release, ensuring product integrity and traceability throughout the manufacturing process. Trusted implicitly for their judgment and precision, and in their ability to problem solve inspection issues, inspect accurately and confirm and communicate inspection results. They also contribute to the mentoring of less experienced Quality Technicians.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in quality assurance or related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in quality control or assurance, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong understanding of quality standards and methodologies, such as ISO or Six Sigma.
  • Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficient in using quality inspection tools and software.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

You should be proficient in:

  • ISO 13485
  • AS9100 Experience
