A leading precision manufacturing company is seeking a Quality Supervisor to lead its1st shift inspection team.This role is responsible for overseeing all inspection activities, ensuring compliance with quality standards, and driving continuous improvement across the department.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise and support a team of quality inspectors on 1st shift
Oversee incoming, in-process, and final inspections
Ensure compliance with customer, regulatory, and internal quality standards (AS9100 experience preferred)
Review and approve inspection reports, first article inspections (FAIs), and non-conformance documentation
Coordinate with production, engineering, and quality teams to resolve issues and improve processes
Lead root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions (CAPA)
Train, mentor, and develop inspection personnel
Monitor KPIs and drive continuous improvement initiatives

Qualifications:

3+ years of experience in a quality leadership or supervisory role
Strong background in inspection within a precision machining or aerospace environment
Familiarity with GD&T, blueprints, and inspection tools (CMM experience a plus)
Knowledge of AS9100 or ISO quality systems
Strong communicationand leadership skills
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
