Job Description

A leading precision manufacturing company is seeking a Quality Supervisor to lead its1st shift inspection team.This role is responsible for overseeing all inspection activities, ensuring compliance with quality standards, and driving continuous improvement across the department.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and support a team of quality inspectors on 1st shift

• Oversee incoming, in-process, and final inspections

• Ensure compliance with customer, regulatory, and internal quality standards (AS9100 experience preferred)

• Review and approve inspection reports, first article inspections (FAIs), and non-conformance documentation

• Coordinate with production, engineering, and quality teams to resolve issues and improve processes

• Lead root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions (CAPA)

• Train, mentor, and develop inspection personnel

• Monitor KPIs and drive continuous improvement initiatives

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience in a quality leadership or supervisory role

• Strong background in inspection within a precision machining or aerospace environment

• Familiarity with GD&T, blueprints, and inspection tools (CMM experience a plus)

• Knowledge of AS9100 or ISO quality systems

• Strong communicationand leadership skills

• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
