Job Overview:

Description

The Quality Supervisor oversees processes to ensure all products conform to Core Systems and our customer specifications. Duties include developing and implementing quality control tests, inspecting products at various stages in process inspections for all operations and conduct the analytics of the findings. The Quality Supervisor is also responsible for ensuring the company meets its stated business objectives and maintains the company’s ISO 9001 QMS.

Requirements

  • Working knowledge of ISO 9001 and awareness of ISO 45001
  • Directs the implementation and maintenance of the Quality System
  • Knowledge of auditing methodologies, validation protocols, design verification and validation protocols, risk assessment and mitigation processes
  • Develops and implements quality control standards, processes, and recommends improvements wherever necessary
  • Works with cross functional teams as needed for product quality and customer service of the custom computer builds
  • Drive a culture of learning, continuous improvement, and best practices to improve the effectiveness of the organization
  • Coach, mentor, and train team on SOP’s and production control concepts.
  • Devise procedures to inspect and report quality issues.
  • Monitor all operations that affect quality.
  • Supervise and guide inspectors, technicians and other staff.
  • Appraise customers’ requirements and make sure they are satisfied.
  • Report all malfunctions to production executives to ensure immediate action.
  • Facilitate proactive solutions by collecting and analyzing quality data.
  • Review current standards and policies.
  • Keep records of quality reports, statistical reviews and relevant documentation.
  • Ensure all customer standards are met.
  • Communicate with external quality assurance officers during on-site inspections (Audits).

Supervisory Responsibilities: 

Directly supervises employees. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Is responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of this area. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.


Required Qualifications: 

5+ years of experience managing in a manufacturing facility


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Microsoft Dynamics 365
  • Microsoft Suite, (Word, Excel)
  • Six Sigma certification a plus
  • ASQ Certification a plus

Education Requirements: 

Associate degree in technical discipline, Bachelor's degree in Engineering is preferred

Exempt Salary Details: The U.S. base salary range reasonably expected to be paid for this role is: $72,000 to $110,000 annually.  We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range.  Actual salary is based on a variety of factors that are unique to each candidate including, but not limited to: skill set, depth of experience, education, certifications and location. The range displayed reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the job across the U.S.
