Essential Functions & Responsibilities
- Actively engaged support in planning, defining, and directing the site auditing control program to ensure compliance to all procedures, and policies, GMP standards, Kraft Heinz requirements, and regulatory, federal and local laws.
- Monitors Ingredient specs to ensure up to date and accurate.
- Support the KHMS system and operational standards as outlined in the plant accountability list.
- Trains, mentors, and leads site QA and Production team to ensure program goals are met.
- Dedicated support to site KHMS Coordinator.
- Monitors and maintains KHMS program by complying to current Kraft Heinz and International Audit (FSSC/ISO) standards.
- Facilitate and co-lead site cross functional KHMS Team and participate with Kraft Heinz corporate Quality support to ensure successful certification for site.
- Ensure all Specification/KPI/KHMS/FSSC/ISO/ plans are maintained.
- Support all internal and external inspections/regulatory visits, USDA, FDA, Halal, Kosher.
- Support audit preparation activities, accompany inspector, and complete necessary reports and postings.
- Perform follow-ups to non-conformances found and provide responses as appropriate.
- Responsible for Hold/Release documentation and dispositioning of products.
- Complete validation studies for all CCPs, OPRPs and other significant controls in accordance with approved methodologies.
- Ensure compliance to Golden Rules and other Quality principles policies through routine auditing, reporting and trending compliance appropriately.
- Provides expertise and actively participates in equipment commissioning and startup, ensuring standardization of all applicable quality and food safety procedures.
- Adhere to approved change control procedures, to include reviewing partial HACCP plans and issuing Agile change requests, as needed.
- Supports factory FSQ continuous improvement initiatives. Seeks out, identifies and implements projects to improve product quality and consistency, process capability, waste reduction, etc.
- Actively support factory shop floor assessments (i.e., performance monitoring, GEMBA walks) to ensure quality & safety standards are always adhered to.
Expected Experience & Required Skills
- Education or relevant operational job knowledge of Food Science, Food Production, Manufacturing Quality/Operations, Quality Engineering, Chemistry, Biology, or other relevant environments.
- Experience with the Food & Beverage Industry, FDA, and USDA is preferred.
- Proven history of technical quality or production knowledge of policies & programs in Food or relevant manufacturing settings.
- Successful candidates possess a positive focus toward solutions with emphasis on preventative proactive measures and team building.
- Strong leadership, technical, communication and interpersonal skills required along with attention to detail.
- Knowledge of quality or production systems, procedures, & policies.
- Manage multiple assignments, develop work plans, & prioritize.
- Knowledge of statistical processes.
- Direct reports assigned, lead development process of direct reports through regularly scheduled 1:1’s.
- Typical work schedule is Monday – Friday, 9-hour shifts, however, one must be able to work alternate shifts, weekends, and overtime as needed.

New Hire Base Salary Range:
$77,800.00 - $97,300.00
Bonus: This position is eligible for a performance-based bonus as provided by the plan terms and governing documents.
The compensation offered will take into account internal equity and may vary depending on the candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors
