Overview: Adirondack Beverages is looking to add a Quality Specialist to their team.
- Create Certificates of Analysis (COAs) for customers, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in their delivery.
- Facilitate third-party lab testing for products as needed, monitoring the types of testing and when it is required.
- Review lab results to ensure that quality standards are being upheld and customer requirements are being met
- Review in-house lab testing results, notifying Quality Manager of any out-of-specification results.
- Monitor and report on yields as assigned and notify Quality Manager of any issues or high losses.
- Perform routine product inspections on the line, looking for dents, wrinkles, code quality, seam/cap application quality, correct material usage, label application, etc.
- Support Quality Lab Technicians as needed and assist with questions regarding product specifications and sample collection.
- Auditing the accuracy of recordkeeping regarding lot numbers and batch ingredients.
- Work closely with Quality Manager, Quality Supervisors, syrup technicians, lab technicians, line foreman, receiving and shipping warehouse teams, and production schedulers to help improve efficiency, accuracy, and overall workflow.
- Perform miscellaneous projects as needed.
- Responsible for Food Safety and Food Quality.

• Good computer skills including literacy with Excel and Word
Physical Requirements:
• Ability to “be on your feet” from beginning to end of shift.
• Able to lift materials up to 50 pounds
