THE WORK
This requisition is for a Quality professional supporting the Training
& Logistics Solutions (TLS) line of business for Lockheed Martin
(LM) Rotary & Mission Systems (RMS) company at Hurlburt Field, FL. This position will interact directly with the Quality Program Manager and functionally report to the Air & Commercial Solutions (ACS) Quality Manager. This position requires the ability to work independently, experience in successfully communicating to senior leadership & a range of Quality Engineering skills (commensurate to a Level-3). This position will require occasional business travel (~10%).
Responsibilities include (but not limited to):
• Lead in the identification of root causes and associated corrective actions, evaluate process/product performance (via internal audit), lead continuous improvement efforts, and participate/interface with the engineering community and customer on program activities to assure processes and products are compliant to contractual requirements
• Provide QA support for program peer reviews (software & courseware), regression testing, integration & test, and functional sell-off
• Assist Quality Program Manager with monthly inputs/metrics on the quality health of the program
• Lead in quality efforts as an engaged member of the program’s change control process boards (ERC/CRB/CCB)
• Support security/information assurance activities
• Support/coordinate installation of supplier-provided training devices at domestic/international customer sites.

Basic Qualifications

• Proven project and self-management skills/experience
• Comfortable reviewing engineering drawings & process diagrams
• Demonstrated leadership potential
• Experienced performing a range of Root Cause Analysis methodologies
• Excellent communication/written skills
• AS9100/ISO 9001 knowledge
• Product and Process Auditor experience
• Able to obtain an Interim DoD Secret Security Clearance prior to starting this position.

Desired skills

• Experience working with a military customer
• Understanding of Lean/Six Sigma (LSS) principles; or possess a
LSS Green or Black Belt
• Knowledgeable of courseware development and review process
• Knowledgeable of Instructional System Design (ISD), SW/HW engineering practices, logistics, IT infrastructure and Information Assurance principles, configuration management, test and evaluation
• Experience in aircrew training operations and student

Ability to work remotely

Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

Work Schedule Information

Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Security Clearance Information

This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

National Pay Statement

Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $77,700 - $136,965. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
Benefits offered: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Short-Term Disability, Long-Term Disability, 401(k) match, Flexible Spending Accounts, EAP, Education Assistance, Parental Leave, Paid time off, and Holidays.
(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
This position is incentive plan eligible.

Premium Pay Statement

Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in most major metropolitan areas in California, Massachusetts, and New York is $89,300 - $154,905. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
