What You Will Do
As a Quality Product Inspector/Technician, you’ll take the lead in performing advanced inspections of products and materials, ensuring they meet the highest standards of quality, safety, and performance. This pivotal role calls for sharp technical expertise, exceptional attention to detail, and a passion for collaboration as you help safeguard our reputation for excellence. Beyond inspections, you’ll serve as a senior member of the quality team—mentoring junior colleagues, driving continuous improvement initiatives, and making a direct impact on the success of our products and customers.
Perform detailed and complex inspections of raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods using a variety of precision measurement tools and visual techniques.
Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, specifications, and other technical documents to ensure product conformance.
Document and report all inspection results accurately and thoroughly, identifying any deviations or non-conforming products.
Initiate non-conformance reports (NRs) and collaborate with Supplier engineering, product, and management teams to investigate root causes and implement corrective actions.
Provide training and mentorship to junior inspectors on inspection procedures, quality standards, and the proper use of equipment.
Participate in the development and refinement of inspection procedures, work instructions, and quality control plans.
Contribute to the analysis of quality data to identify trends, potential issues, and areas for process improvement.
Ensure all inspection activities comply with internal policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
Have a solid understanding of basic electrical theory and experience in cable harness inspection.
What Skills & Experience You Should Bring
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in quality control or product inspection, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
Proven ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
Strong proficiency with a range of inspection tools, such as calipers, micrometers, gauges, and coordinate measuring machines (CMMs).
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
Exceptional attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.
Must be proficient in basic electrical theory and skilled in inspecting cable harnesses to ensure quality and functionality.
Experience with quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001) is a plus.

This compensation range is based on a full time schedule.
