**Quality Manager: Aurora, IL

**

A leading CNC manufacturing job shop is seeking an experienced Quality Manager to lead and maintain the company’s quality management system and ensure machined products consistently meet customer specifications, industry standards, and internal quality requirements.

The ideal candidate will bring strong experience in CNC machining and precision manufacturing, along with a solid understanding of quality management systems and the ability to communicate effectively in both English and Spanish.

**Key Responsibilities:

**

• Lead and maintain the company’s Quality Management System (QMS).

• Ensure compliance with customer specifications, industry standards, and company quality objectives.

• Oversee incoming, in-process, and final inspection activities.

• Develop and maintain quality procedures, work instructions, and inspection plans.

• Conduct internal audits and support customer and third-party audits.

• Analyze quality data, trends, and KPIs to identify opportunities for continuous improvement.

• Investigate nonconformances and lead root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions.

• Review customer drawings, specifications, and quality requirements.

• Partner with production, engineering, and management to resolve quality issues and improve manufacturing processes.

• Train and mentor quality inspectors and production employees on quality standards and best practices.

• Communicate directly with customers regarding quality concerns, corrective actions, and quality performance.

• Manage calibration programs for measuring and inspection equipment.

• Ensure compliance with applicable ISO 9001, AS9100, or other quality standards.

• Participate in customer visits and supplier quality evaluations.

• Prepare and present quality reports to senior management.

**Skills & Experience:

**

• **Education

  **: High school diploma or GED, required; degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, or related, highly preferred

• **Experience

  **: 5+ years of Quality Management in a CNC machining, precision manufacturing, or job-shop environment required

• **Knowledge:

**ISO9001 and AS9100 quality management systems,

• **Software:

**QMS, ERP, and manufacturing data systems,

**required

**

• **Bilingual Communication:

  **Fluency in both English and Spanish (written and verbal), required, to effectively communicate technical information, provide training and support, and collaborate with Spanish-speaking employees.

** $85,000 - $120,000/year

**Type:

** Full-time, 1st Shift, On-site

**Schedule:

** Monday – Friday, 6:45 a.m. – 4:15 p.m.
