Quality Manager

Salary Range: $105,150 – $135,000 annually

Overview

An established automotive manufacturing company is seeking an experienced Quality Manager to lead the Quality System Management within the plant. This position works closely with the General Manager to ensure all product quality requirements are met and maintained.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and manage internal audits, ensuring effective follow-up on findings.
• Conduct management review meetings and ensure compliance with all quality and environmental standards.
• Manage the corrective action process and maintain documentation.
• Maintain and update all controlled documents for quality and environmental management systems.
• Track and analyze quality data to support continuous improvement.
• Create and update job instructions to ensure consistent quality.
• Partner with quality and operations teams to maintain effectiveness of quality systems.
• Perform floor audits to verify compliance with job instructions.
• Oversee gaging and calibration activities to meet quality standards.

Qualifications

• Proficient in MS Excel (formulas, sorting) and MS Word (drafting/editing).
• Expert-level knowledge of TS 16949, ISO 14001, and ISO 9001.
• Prior experience as a Quality Manager or Quality Engineer in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience in the automotive industry required.
• Strong mathematical, written, and verbal communication skills.
