TekPro, a direct recruitment firm partnering with leading manufacturing companies across the Chicagoland area, is currently seeking a Quality Manager to lead quality operations at a well-established aerospace machining facility in Wheeling, IL.
This role is ideal for an experienced quality leader who thrives in precision manufacturing environments and is passionate about maintaining the highest standards in aerospace component production.
🔧 Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage the quality management system for aerospace machined components
Oversee inspection, testing, and quality assurance processes across production
Drive root cause analysis and corrective actions (CAPA) for quality issues
Ensure compliance with aerospace quality standards and customer requirements
Lead internal and external audits, including customer and regulatory audits
Partner with engineering, production, and leadership teams to support continuous improvement initiatives
Mentor and develop the quality team while establishing strong quality culture across operations
✅ Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality, or related technical field
5+ years of quality leadership experience in manufacturing
Experience in aerospace machining or highly regulated manufacturing environments preferred
Strong knowledge of quality systems, audits, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement methodologies
Experience working cross-functionally with engineering and production teams
