Description
We are seeking a strategic Quality Manager to lead our Quality Assurance (QA) and Quality Control (QC) departments. In this role, one will be the primary architect of our quality management system (QMS), ensuring that our internal processes are optimized for excellence while overseeing the day-to-day testing and inspection of our outputs. The ideal candidate is a data-driven leader who believes that quality is a proactive culture, not just a reactive checklist.
Requirements
· Develop, implement, and maintain the company’s Quality Management System (QMS) in alignment with industry standards (e.g., IATF 16949)
· Develop Annual Hoshin that supports the FIA Company Hoshin and ensures targets are set and met through the year
· Conduct regular internal audits to identify systemic bottlenecks or risks and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA)
· Lead organization-wide training programs to instill a Quality mindset with a safety first approach across all departments
· Develop an annual departmental expense budget and monitor to ensure Budget is met
· Lead Quality Improvement Activities related to the shop floor to improve overall FIA quality
· Oversee Quality of Current Production Models (Floor Inspection, Measurement, Containment, Sorting, Destruct Lab, Change Point Management, Audits of Production, etc.)
· Manage the Quality team in performing raw material inspections, in-process checks, and final product testing
· Support new model launch quality activity (measurement support, special control period, floor preparation items, etc.)
· Support investigations using 5-Why analysis for quality issues that occur. Ensure that countermeasures are implemented and audited to verify countermeasures are effective.
· Uniformly enforce company policy and ensure department follows the rules consistently
· Work with other departments to reduce overall scrap
· Establish and sustain clear "Pass/Fail" criteria and standardized testing protocols
· Kaizen inspection processes to remove difficult work and be more efficient
· Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) such as defect rates, cost of quality, and audit scores
· Monitor Change Point Management System to ensure correct use of system
· Evaluate the quality performance of suppliers and subcontractors
· Maintain all red rabbits and audit at a set frequency for damage
· Mentor and manage a team of QA specialists and QC inspectors
· Monitor, enforce rules, and train as needed for abnormal handling.
· Audit to ensure production follows Standardized Work instructions
· Other duties and responsibilities as assigned
· 5+ years in a quality management role, with proven experience overseeing both QA and QC functions.
· Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Science, or a related technical field.
· Certifications: ASQ (CMQ/OE, CQE), Six Sigma Green/Black Belt, or ISO Lead Auditor certifications are highly preferred
· Familiarity with Toyota Production System (TPS)
· Deep understanding of root cause analysis (RCA)
· Exceptional communication skills with the ability to "hold the line" on quality standards while maintaining positive relationships with production teams
· Strong leadership and communication skills

· Must be able to use a variety of tools and equipment such as computer terminal for data input, copy machines, calculator and any other equipment related to functional area.
· Must be able to use software includes the use of Windows Operating System, MS Office Applications (Word, Excel, Power Point, Access database, etc), and Internet
· Noise Levels: Moderate Noise
