Quality Manager – Manufacturing

We are seeking an experienced Quality Manager to oversee quality operations within a manufacturing environment. This position will lead a small quality team while remaining actively involved in day-to-day quality activities, inspection, compliance, and continuous improvement.

This is a hands-on leadership role requiring a strong manufacturing quality background and the ability to work closely with production, engineering, customers, and internal teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support a team of Quality Inspectors.
• Oversee day-to-day quality and inspection activities within the manufacturing operation.
• Interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and GD&T requirements.
• Maintain and support the company's Quality Management System and ISO compliance.
• Manage nonconforming material, customer quality concerns, RMAs, and corrective actions.
• Partner with Production and Engineering to investigate and resolve quality issues.
• Maintain accurate quality documentation and records within internal systems.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives related to product quality and manufacturing processes.
• Remain actively involved with hands-on inspection and troubleshooting as needed.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of quality leadership experience within a manufacturing environment.
• Previous experience managing or leading a Quality team.
• Strong hands-on inspection background.
• Experience with fabricated and/or formed components.
• Strong blueprint reading and GD&T knowledge.
• Experience working within an ISO 9001 Quality Management System.
• Experience with RMAs and corrective action processes.
• Working knowledge of ERP/MRP systems.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Experience

• Job shop, general manufacturing, or OEM experience.
• CMM inspection experience.
• Customer-facing quality and corrective action experience.

Schedule

• Full-time, Monday through Friday.
• Day shift.
• On-site position.
• Occasional travel may be required.
