About the Role

A leading manufacturer in the food and beverage industry is seeking a Laboratory Technician to join our quality team. This role is responsible for evaluating ingredients and finished products to ensure they meet established specifications and quality standards. The technician will also perform quality audits, provide feedback to frontline team members, and participate in or lead problem-solving activities to drive continuous improvement.

Schedule: 2-2-3 rotating schedule

Hours: 5:45 p.m. – 5:45 a.m. (overnight shift)

Compensation: Up to $36.00/hour, based on relevant experience

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct routine testing of ingredients, in-process materials, and finished goods to verify compliance with specifications

• Document, analyze, and report quality data accurately and promptly

• Perform quality audits and communicate results to production and management teams

• Lead or participate in root cause analysis and problem-solving efforts

• Support continuous improvement initiatives within the laboratory and production areas

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or a related scientific discipline

• 1–3 years of laboratory, quality control, or related experience

• Excellent communication skills across all levels of the organization

• Strong analytical, organizational, and technical skills

• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
