Job Overview:
Inspects and approves product by confirming specifications, conducting dimensional measurements, and rejecting product which does meet requirements.
Documents inspection results by completing reports and logs, and inputs data into quality database.
Maintains measurement equipment by following operating instructions and calibration requirements and requesting necessary repairs in a timely manner.
Maintains safe and healthy work environment by following company standards and procedures and complying with legal regulations.
Completes all working documentation, records, and reports as requested.
Understands and follows all SAIA policies and procedures.
Remains proactive and reactive to resolve abnormalities in the process.
Uses key performance indicators as a method of continuous improvement.
Performs other duties as requested.
