Quality & ISO Compliance Manager

Location: Portland Metro Area, OR | On-site Manufacturing Facility

Salary: $90,000 – $105,000 annually

Role Summary

Our client is seeking a hands-on** **Quality & ISO Compliance Manager to lead quality operations within a site-based manufacturing environment. This role offers full ownership of ISO 9001 compliance and the opportunity to re-engage and strengthen an existing quality system that is already in place.

This is a practical, floor-focused leadership position for someone who values accountability, consistency, and real-world application of quality standards. You will serve as the on-site quality authority, supporting daily manufacturing operations while driving audits, supplier quality, and continuous improvement efforts.

Required Qualifications

• Proven experience owning and maintaining ISO 9001 compliance in a manufacturing environment

• Direct involvement with an ISO system, including implementation, maintenance, or audit support

• Comfortable working in a hands-on manufacturing quality role

• Willingness to support manual inspection and blueprint reading as needed or learn quickly

• Experience leading audits, corrective actions, incoming quality, and supplier quality activities

• Ability to work independently while managing and mentoring one Quality Inspector

• Strong working-manager mindset with the ability to balance leadership and hands-on involvement

Desired Qualifications

• Background in heavy industrial or machining-focused manufacturing environments

• Experience in ISO 9001–certified operations with site-based quality leadership

• Familiarity with manual inspection processes and manufacturing workflows

• Detail-oriented, practical approach to problem-solving
