Description

The Quality Intern role supports Denali’s commitment to providing high-quality products and solutions to our customers. Key responsibilities will include assisting in quality assurance testing, documentation, and compliance. This position requires a proactive individual with strong attention to detail, the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, and efficient time management skills.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities

This list of duties and responsibilities is not all inclusive and may be expanded to include other duties and responsibilities as management may deem necessary. 


  1. Assist Quality Assurance personnel in conducting quality tests on raw materials and finished products to meet company standards. 
  2. Support the documentation process for quality assurance, including recording test results and maintaining accurate records. 
  3. Participate in conducting internal audits to ensure compliance with food safety and quality standards. 
  4. Help prepare samples for quality testing and analysis, ensuring proper handling and storage. 
  5. Assist in the development and implementation of quality control procedures and protocols. 
  6. Gather and analyze data related to quality metrics and prepare reports as required. 
  7. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the Quality Assurance lab and work areas. 
  8. Follow Denali Best Practices in all quality-related tasks. 
  9. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address quality-related issues and improve processes. 
  10. Other duties as required.

Education and/or Experience

  • High school diploma, with a preference for an emphasis in a science; a minimum of 1 year of related experience is preferred.
  • Experience working in a lab is a plus. 
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset with attention to detail. 

Language and Other Skills

  • Fluent in oral and written English
  • Strong organizational skills and abilities.
  • Ability to work as a member of a diverse team.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, production schedules, purchase orders, maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to work in Microsoft Suite (PowerPoint, Excel, Word)


Reasoning Ability

  • Self-motivated, resourceful, creative, teachable.
  • Ability to multi-task and management time.
