Overview

EARN up to $2500/WEEK

Flextrades is hiring Quality Inspectors with 4+ years recent experience for a 3 month contract in NEW YORK

• Pay: $40/hr
• 50hrs/week GUARANTEED (OT over 40)
• $45 per diem (tax-free), 7 days a week
• Private hotel accommodations (we handle the booking)
• References Required
• ITAR Docs required
• Must pass a background check and drug test
• Travel time compensation

Responsibilities

• Inspecting components with hand precision tools, CMM and manual CMM in an inspecting room.

- Setup and operate CMMs

Performing pre- and post-inspections, receiving, FAIs, and final inspections

• Will inspect parts under a 10x magnification scope to identify surface finishes, dents, contaminations, burrs, defects, etc.
• Measuring bores, internal cross holes, ID/OD diameters, thickness, height, hole pattern, slots, and keyways

Qualifications

• 4+ recent years as a Quality Inspector

• Able to Setup and operate manual CMM

• Must be able to work under scope/magnification.

• Ability to read and understand engineering drawings/blueprints.

• Proficient with hand precision tools as listed above.

• Ability to pay attention to detail, it is critical when inspecting for defects

You should be proficient in:

• AS9100 Quality Systems
• First Article Inspection (FAI)

Machines & technologies you'll use:

• Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) (Mitutoyo, Nikon)
• Measurement Gauges
• Calipers and Micrometers
