Job Overview:

About the Role:

As a Quality Inspector, you’ll be responsible for ensuring the quality of incoming parts, in-process assemblies, and finished products. You’ll verify products against engineering drawings, specifications, and industry standards using precision measurement tools. Your work helps uphold the company’s reputation for excellence and ensures customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Inspect incoming parts, in-process assemblies, and finished products for conformance to engineering drawings and specifications.
  • Perform receiving, in-process, and final inspections using appropriate tools (calipers, micrometers, indicators, bore gauges, etc.).
  • Complete and document First Article Inspections (FAI) per AS9102 standards.
  • Identify and document discrepancies such as damage, visual defects, incorrect dimensions, or surface imperfections.
  • Work closely with production and the quality teams to resolve quality issues and ensure compliance with internal standards.

What We're Looking For:

  • 2–5 years of quality inspection experience in a manufacturing environment (preferably aerospace or precision machining).
  • Ability to measure critical dimensions (down to ±.0005”) and interpret engineering drawings, GD&T, and related specifications.
  • Familiarity with precision measurement tools and gauges (calipers, micrometers, dial indicators, height gauges, etc.).
  • Basic computer proficiency (Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word).
  • Ability to complete AS9102 First Article Inspection Reports.
  • Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and ability to work independently.
  • Must be willing to undergo background check and drug screening.

Preferred Qualifications:

While not required, candidates with the following background will stand out:

  • Aerospace industry experience.
  • Familiarity with visual inspection of special processes such as heat treating, anodizing, and plating.
  • Knowledge of ISO/AS quality management systems.
  • Experience using **CMM **and/or Keyence Visual System Machine.
