Ontic’s Chatsworth, CA, site specializes in precision engineering, MRO, and new solutions for parts at risk of obsolescence. With over 1,300 employees across four time zones and seven sites, we have more than doubled in size since 2019 and are continuing to grow at pace.

Our team is looking for a Quality Control Inspector III to join them. You will report to the Receiving Inspection Supervisor and will have an onsite work structure in Chatsworth, CA.

To be considered for the Quality Control Inspector III opening, here’s what you’ll need to bring with you:

• High school diploma or equivalent required

• Additional technical certifications preferred

• Minimum of 7 years of aviation inspection responsibilities

• Strategic and critical thinking skills

• Experience with quality control inspection techniques and procedures

• Strong communication and leadership abilities

As a Quality Control Inspector, you will:

• Perform independent inspections of assigned tasks, including documentation reviews, hardware and assembly inspections, and tests validation

• Ensure compliance with Customer Purchase Order Quality flow down requirements.

• Communicate and coach inner company departments regarding Quality Control activities and developments.

• Create Supplier and internal Nonconformance reports as required.

• Provide technical training and mentorship to junior inspectors.

• Support the development of strategies to mitigate risks associated with quality trends.

Salary Range:
$30-$35/hr, based on experience
