JOB SUMMARY

The quality inspector will make visual and measured inspections of product to ensure conformance with standards, determine if product meets requirements, will maintain quality and reliability by performing the following duties. 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Interprets engineering drawings
• Performs visual and measured inspections per applicable coded requirement
• Perform third party Fab inspection and reporting on and off site
• Interpret Drawings, Blueprints and Engineering documents
• Inspects completed welds, visually and through measurement against drawing specification
• Assess the quality and strength of completed welds
• Reviews and approves WPS/PQR
• Inspects and reports fabrications completed on and off site (domestic)
• In process verification
• Product final testing & witnessing
• Documentation review
• Maintains a clean and safe working area

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS

• 2 years previous experience as a quality inspector
• High School Graduate
• Familiar with ISO & API requirements
• Beneficial to have CWI certification or to be eligible to become CWI certified
