Job Description

Eaton’s IS AER MSD is currently seeking a Quality Inspector II. This position is based at our Orchard Park, NY facility.Core hours for this position are 7am-3:30pm.The hourly pay range for this position is $24.00-$26.00 per hour.Please note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. What you’ll do:

•Perform receiving, and in-process inspections on parts and products, including but not limited to mechanical and visual inspections.•Work to approved inspection checklists, engineering drawings, purchase orders, work instructions and specifications.•Utilize Non-Conforming Material Control process to document parts that do not meet specifications.•Responsible for ensuring that Environmental, Health, and Safety are included as part of everyday activities.

Qualifications:

Basic Requirements:•High School Diploma or GED equivalent from an accredited institution required•Minimum 2 years of experience with mechanical and visual inspection of parts and products•Must be able to work in the United States without corporate sponsorship now and within the future•This position requires use of information or access to hardware which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). All applicants must be U.S. persons within the meaning of ITAR. ITAR defines a U.S. person as a U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (i.e. 'Green Card Holder'), Political Asylee, or Refugee.•No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates within a 50-mile radius of Orchard Park, NY will be considered. Active Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation.Preferred Qualifications:•Lean Six Sigma knowledge.•Experience using ERP systems in a professional employment setting.•Advanced Part Quality Planning (APQP) knowledge•First Article Inspection (FAI) AS9102 knowledge•ASQ Mechanical Inspector Certification.•Computer, communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills; organization and time management skills.
