We are currently seeking a Quality Inspector who is interested in ensuring products that lives depend on meet or exceed our customers' expectations. Employee to perform routine and/or repetitive operations in a flexible manufacturing environment in accordance with standardized processes, procedures or methods. This position may require frequent movement throughout the manufacturing operation.


Basic Purpose of Position: Work as a team and in cooperation with other departments, customers and vendors to perform quality assurance inspections on Spartronics products as well as incoming inventory from suppliers to ensure our products and raw materials meet or exceed both Spartronics and our customers quality standards. 

  • Ensure compliance with all safety, environmental and quality standards. Report any suspected violations to respective supervisor, department manager or EHS Manager. 
  • Compliance with all Spartronics procedures, instructions, rules and policies.
  • On time completion of any required training using both online learning management systems and classroom settings.
  • Visually inspect products coming off   production lines, thoroughly checking all components of each product and verifying the product (including all of it’s components) are properly assembled and soldered. 
  • Testing and analysis of products using tools and testing equipment. 
  • Referencing processes and designs to ensure the product and it’s components are assembled and soldered correctly. Rejecting any products or components that do not meet or exceed expectations. 
  • Completing all required documentation   either on paper or electronically
  • All other duties assigned by Management. 
  • Visually inspecting finished products as well as raw materials (“source inspection”) as they are received to ensure finished products and raw materials meet or exceed quality expectations. 
  • Entering data quality data into Spartronics systems using computers, scanners and other technologies. 
  • Other work as assigned by Management

  • This position requires use of information which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).All applicants must be U.S. persons within the meaning of ITAR. ITAR defines a U.S. person as a U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (i.e. 'Green Card Holder'), Political Asylee, or Refugee.
  • This is an onsite position, not remote or hybrid.  
  • Ability to visually identify and differentiate colors and patterns required.  
  • High School Graduate or GED 
  • 6-12 months of relevant experience preferred. 
  • Ability to use hand tools and testing equipment. 
  • Ability to use computer systems to perform job as well as to complete training requirements. 
  • Ability to interpret drawings and designs.
  • Ability to visually inspect products and identify flaws both with and without the use of a microscope. 
  • Ability to communicate clearly both in writing and verbally. 
  • Must be able to comply with all ESD, FOD and ITAR requirements. 
  • Possess (or able to obtain) relevant IPC Certifications.
  • Ability to visually identify and differentiate colors and patterns.
  • Any other qualifications that may be required based on business conditions.   
  • Ability to perform inspections at production lines, on finished products and in receiving.
  • Ability to use computers and other technology to enter data into Spartronics systems.
