Payrate: $33.85/hour
Shift Premiums: 2nd/3rd shift = $1.00/hour.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Work from written procedures, operation sketches, blueprints, assembly prints, routings, and reworks.
Perform first piece inspection (first article inspection), to verify that manufacturing process meets blueprint specifications.
Perform inspection of complex castings, forgings, and in-process and completed product to verify conformance to requirements.
Perform necessary mathematical calculations to validate and verify dimensional relationship and accuracy.
Accurately document nonconformances found during inspections.
Accurately record all required data on records, logs, data sheets, routings, sketches, and reworks.
Accurately use a wide variety of complex inspection devices, such as; plates, comparators, verniers, jo-blocks, snap gages, mics, electronic indicators, scales, and calipers.
Pass the Alloy Identity Certification.
Become certified for the walky stacker, and be able to use a hoist if needed.
Minimum Qualifications:
High School diploma or GED equivalence.
Willing and able to work any shift assigned after training, including an off shift. 2nd shift (3pm - 11pm) **AND **3rd shift (11pm - 7am).
Minimum of 2 years' related quality inspection experience, including:- Reading and interpreting blueprints and operational sketches
Thorough understanding of ANSI Y14.5, GD&T.
Necessary skills to interpret and follow operating procedures, and to maintain accurate documentation of inspection data.
Sufficient computer skills.
Ability to pass all applicable visual and dimensional written and operational examinations.
Meet required vision standards.
