Quality Inspector / Technician
We are looking for a skilled Quality Inspector to join our aerospace and metal manufacturing team. This hands-on role ensures all parts meet customer, company, and industry specifications through inspections and adherence to quality processes.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform first piece, in-process, and final inspections
Operate and program CMMs (manual & CNC); experience with PC-DMIS/Modus preferred
Conduct Magnetic Particle Inspection (MPI) and verify NDT compliance
Inspect parts from suppliers and vendors; reject non-conforming materials
Use precision measuring instruments: micrometers, calipers, bore gauges, dial indicators, etc.
Review blueprints and customer specifications
Maintain calibration systems and support internal audits
Assist in PPAP/ISIR processes and process capability studies
Support production teams with quality guidance and training
Organize documentation, complete quality forms, and improve quality systems
Qualifications:
2–4 years of experience in manufacturing and quality assurance
Proficiency in CMM inspection and programming
Micro-Vu experience is a plus
Aerospace and/or metal manufacturing background preferred
Basic math and geometry knowledge
Computer proficiency (MS Word, Excel, Outlook)
Experience with bevel gear manufacturing is a plus
