Responsibilities:
- Performing first-article, in-process, and final inspections of machined components
- Using precision measuring instruments such micrometers, calipers, height gauges, CMM.
- Verify dimensional accuracy, surface finish using engineering drawings and specifications.
- Interpret blueprints, GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing), and work instructions
- Document and maintain inspection results following company quality management systems (ISO 9001 / AS9100).
- Identify and report non-conformances
- Assist in root cause analysis, and participating in corrective/preventive action processes.
- Maintain calibration of inspection tools and ensure all measuring devices are in proper working condition.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in precision machining inspection
- Experience with CMM programming - Keyence XM-5000
- Experience in using precision measurement instruments
- Understanding of engineering drawings, tolerance and GD&T
- Familiar with ISO 9001 or AS9100 quality system is a plus
- Computer experience ability to document data entry and generate reports
- Experience with basic shop math
Hours are:
Monday through Friday – 7am to 3:30pm
The pay is up to $30.00 an hour based on experience
