In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
- Audit incoming materials, work-in-progress components, and finished products to verify compliance with engineering drawings and quality specifications using precision measuring instruments.
- Utilize equipment such as functional gages, calipers, micrometers, depth gages, and Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMMs) to perform inspections and measurements.
- Identify, document, and segregate nonconforming materials while clearly communicating reasons for rejection.
- Perform dimensional layouts on sample components to support supplier tooling approval processes and document inspection findings.
- Provide constructive feedback and recommendations to production teams to help bring products into specification.
- Partner with Manufacturing Engineering, Materials, and Production teams to investigate and resolve quality concerns.
- Support Lean manufacturing and 5S initiatives to promote a safe, organized, and efficient work environment.
- Maintain accurate quality records and communicate inspection results effectively across teams.

For This Role, You Will Need:
- High school diploma, GED, or demonstrated ability to read, write, and perform mathematical calculations at a high school level.
- Ability to accurately use precision measuring instruments, including functional gages, calipers, micrometers, and depth gages.
- Ability to interpret measurements and compare results against specifications and engineering requirements.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Ability to communicate effectively and collaborate with team members across functions.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and safely lift up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to work in a manufacturing environment and follow all safety requirements.
Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart:
- Associate degree in any field.
- Experience operating and programming a Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM).
- Knowledge of metallurgical properties, materials, or related coursework.
- Understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, routings, and inspection documentation.
- Previous experience in a manufacturing, quality, or inspection environment.
