We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Quality Inspector to join our team. This role is critical in ensuring that all parts and assemblies meet stringent quality standards before moving into the next phase of production or delivery. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of inspection tools, GD&T principles, and aerospace quality standards.

Pay & Benefits:

  • Hourly Pay: $36/hour
  • Guaranteed Weekly Overtime (paid at time and a half)
  • Per Diem: $45/day
  • Paid Travel & Lodging (single-occupancy hotel room)

  • Contract Role with assignments ranging from 3 months to 1 year
  • Work Schedule: 2nd and 3rd shifts, 50+ hours/week including overtime

Requirements:

  • Ability to work independently
  • Willingness to travel
  • Must pass a drug test

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform quality inspections on CNC-machined parts, including receiving, in-process, and final inspections.
  • Use precision tools such as OD mics, plug gauges, drop indicators, height gauges, thread gauges, depth gauges, go/no-go gauges, and comparators.
  • Conduct visual inspections and interpret CMM reports.
  • Execute final inspections with thorough paperwork review (3–20 pages per part).
  • Inspect final assemblies and ensure compliance with manufacturing specifications.

Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in using a wide range of inspection tools.
  • Understanding of GD&T principles (hole location, true position, runout, etc.).
  • Ability to read and interpret CMM reports.
  • Familiarity with AS9102 and aerospace quality standards.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage extensive documentation.
  • Ability to work independently and stop the process when inspection requirements are unclear.
  • Competence in Excel, Word, and familiarity with ERP/SAP systems.
