Knowledge/Skills:
- Ability to follow written manufacturing instructions and general specifications
- Computer skills and use of computer programs
- Understands and effectively utilize desktop applications and manufacturing systems as required
- Demonstrates the knowledge of inspection techniques and product attributes
Qualifications – Education/Experience:
- High school or equivalent
- Basic reading, writing and math skills
- Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing
- Typically requires 1 year of prior manufacturing experience
- IPC-1620 certification a plus but not required
Duties/Responsibilities: (Position Specific)
- Ability to use a microscope with reticle or dazor to inspect components
- Ability to measure product attributes using micrometers, calipers and tape measure
- Ability to read and understand Blue Print / Drawings
- Performs operations as defined by specifications
- Achieve IPC-620 certification
- Achieve productivity standards
- Achieve quality targets
- Is accountable for individual results
- Adheres to established safety practices, environmental management and quality systems requirements
Physical/Environmental Requirements:
- Requires visual acuity (visual ability to resolve fine detail) and manual dexterity (fine hand and finger movements)
- Requires limited supervision for routine processes, can implement changes with detailed instruction
- Must be available for overtime work
- Must be able to lift at least 10lbs frequently; up to 35lbs occasionally, and heavier weights with assistance
- Must be able to wear required safety protective equipment including but not limited to safety shoes and glasses
- May work in a clean room environment and wear clean room attire
- Must be able to work with or around chemicals
