JOB SUMMARY/OBJECTIVE: The Quality Inspector 1 will be responsible for performance of delegated duties. To excel in this key role, you must be able communicate clearly.
KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS:
- Ability to use a microscope with reticle or dazor to inspect components.
- Ability to measure product attributes using micrometers, calipers and tape measure.
- Ability to read and understand Blueprint / Drawings.
- Performs operations as defined by specifications.
- Achieve IPC-620 certification.
- Achieve productivity standards.
- Achieve quality targets.
- Is accountable for individual results.
- Adheres to established safety practices, environmental management, and quality systems requirement.
- May include other duties as assigned and/or special projects.
QUALIFICATIONS - EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
- Ability to follow written manufacturing instructions and general specifications.
- Computer skills and use of computer programs.
- Understands and effectively utilize desktop applications and manufacturing systems as required.
- Demonstrates the knowledge of inspection techniques and product attributes.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
- High school or equivalent.
- Basic reading, writing and math skills.
- Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
- Typically requires 1 year of prior manufacturing experience.
- IPC-1620 certification a plus but not require.

- No special clearances required.
