JOB SUMMARY/OBJECTIVE: The Quality Inspector 1 will be responsible for performance of delegated duties. To excel in this key role, you must be able communicate clearly.

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS:

• Ability to use a microscope with reticle or dazor to inspect components.
• Ability to measure product attributes using micrometers, calipers and tape measure.
• Ability to read and understand Blueprint / Drawings.
• Performs operations as defined by specifications.
• Achieve IPC-620 certification. 
• Achieve productivity standards.
• Achieve quality targets.
• Is accountable for individual results.
• Adheres to established safety practices, environmental management, and quality systems requirement.
• May include other duties as assigned and/or special projects.

QUALIFICATIONS - EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

• Ability to follow written manufacturing instructions and general specifications.
• Computer skills and use of computer programs.
• Understands and effectively utilize desktop applications and manufacturing systems as required.
• Demonstrates the knowledge of inspection techniques and product attributes. 

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

• High school or equivalent.
• Basic reading, writing and math skills.
• Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
• Typically requires 1 year of prior manufacturing experience.
• IPC-1620 certification a plus but not require.
