We are currently looking for a qualified Quality Inspector to approve/disapprove parts, assemblies and finished products according to drawings. Ensures quality finished product is shipped to the customer by ensuring quality checks are complete, accurate and signed-off. Final release of every Helix build. Ensure only complete routers are turned into the quality assurance team.


  • Performs a wide variety of mechanical inspections on parts and assemblies.
  • Follows general inspection guidelines to conduct visual, dimensional, mechanical, electrical test and functional inspections on a variety of components and assemblies.
  • Conduct first article, in-process, and final inspection of parts and assemblies

Requirements

  • 1 year + experience in manufacturing environments including welding, metal manufacturing or equivalent required
  • Experience in quality systems (inspections, audits, use of measurement tools) required
  • Experience with Class II Medical device inspections a plus
  • Intermediate level computer skills required
  • Ability to effectively train/coach others
  • Time management
  • Priority setting
  • Detail oriented
  • Blue print understanding
  • 6+ months in Helix preferred
  • Intermediate level computer skills required
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
