Quality Inspector

Location: Round Rock, TX

Schedule: Monday–Friday

1st Shift: 7:00 AM–3:00 PM

Pay: $25.00–$27.00/hour

Are you experienced with blueprints, precision measuring tools, and inspecting manufactured parts? We’re hiring a Quality Inspector for a growing manufacturing operation in Round Rock.

This is a great opportunity for someone with a background in manufacturing, machining, fabrication, quality inspection, or material handling who knows how to read drawings, take accurate measurements, and verify that parts meet specifications.

What You’ll Do

• Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and specifications

• Inspect incoming materials, in-process parts, and finished products

• Use calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other precision inspection tools

• Perform visual and dimensional inspections

• Apply basic GD&T concepts when inspecting parts

• Perform leak testing and blacklight inspections as needed

• Handle, move, stage, and inspect materials and manufactured components

• Verify dimensions, tolerances, part numbers, and specifications

• Identify and document damaged or non-conforming materials

• Maintain accurate inspection and quality records

• Maintain product and material traceability

• Follow established ISO 9001 quality procedures

• Work closely with manufacturing and quality teams to resolve issues

What We’re Looking For

We want candidates with strong hands-on manufacturing experience. You may be a good fit if you have experience as a:

Quality Inspector • Manufacturing Inspector • Machine Shop Inspector • QC Technician • Manufacturing Technician • CNC/Machining Technician • Fabrication Inspector • Material Handler

Preferred Qualifications:

• 2+ years of manufacturing, inspection, machining, fabrication, or related experience

• Strong blueprint and engineering drawing reading skills

• Hands-on experience with calipers, micrometers, gauges, or similar measuring tools

• Experience inspecting and handling manufactured parts or materials

• Understanding of tolerances and dimensional measurements

• GD&T knowledge is a plus

• Leak testing or blacklight inspection experience is a plus

• Familiarity with non-conformance documentation and ISO 9001 is helpful

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
