**Position Summary **

The Quality Floor Inspector is responsible for examining and testing products and materials in all stages of production for signs of damage or defects that could reduce their overall quality and functionality.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:

• Establishing quality standards for products produced
• Reading blueprints and specifications to ensure standards are met
• Recommends any necessary adjustments and changes to production processes
• Inspecting and testing the materials and equipment produced by a company
• Use micrometers and calipers to test and measure product
• Remove products that don’t meet production standards and recommend strategies to improve product quality
• Accepting or rejecting finished products and discuss inspection results with team
• Perform inspections at random to assess product quality

Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)

• One year experience as a in the fastener industry preferred
• Able to read/understand blueprints and schematics
• Ability to correctly use calipers and micrometers for inspection
• Basic computer skills
• Reliable and good work ethic
• IATF 16949 knowledge
• Experience with Root Cause Analysis and Deductive Reasoning
• Demonstrates effective oral communication
• Able to perform physical activities that require to use the body to lift, walk, and handle material
• Prioritize, organize, and accomplish work efficiently
• Move quickly from task to task with minimal errors and/or omissions
• Always follow all OSHA and company safety guidelines

• Must wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) which is required in designated areas.
• Ability to continuously stand and move through 8–10-hour shifts
• 100% onsite. One work location.
