Quality Inspector

Job Location: HC Pacific- Ontario, CA

Job Summary: 

We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Inspector to perform receiving inspections, contract reviews, shipping and packaging verification, and final inspections in support of Defense Contract Management Agency (DCMA) requirements. This role ensures all incoming and outgoing materials comply with applicable specifications, contractual requirements, and quality standards.

• Receiving Inspection:
  • Inspect incoming parts, materials, and documentation for compliance with purchase order requirements, specifications, and applicable standards.
  • Verify certification documents such as C of C, test reports, and traceability records.
  • Document findings in the quality system and quarantine non-conforming items.
• Contract Review:
  • Review customer and government contracts for quality-related clauses and inspection requirements.
  • Identify packaging, labeling, marking, and inspection specifications called out in the contract.
  • Communicate contractual requirements to internal teams as needed.
• Shipping & Packaging Verification:
  • Ensure outgoing shipments meet packaging, labeling, and preservation requirements per contract and MIL-STD standards.
  • Identify discrepancies in packaging and coordinate with operations to correct them prior to shipment.
• Final Inspection & DCMA Support:
  • Perform final inspection of completed orders in accordance with contract and drawing requirements.
  • Prepare and verify inspection records for DCMA review and support government source inspections when required.
  • Interface with DCMA representatives to ensure successful inspection and acceptance of shipments.
  • Provide vital information regarding government contract reviews.
