We are seeking an experienced
Quality Inspector
to join a leading precision
manufacturing company. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with
experience in
semiconductor, aerospace, medical device, or high-precision
machining
environments.
Responsibilities:
- Perform incoming, in-process, and final inspections of precision machined
components.
- Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and customer
specifications.
- Operate CMM (Coordinate Measuring Machine) and other precision
measuring equipment.
- Use calipers, micrometers, height gauges, pin gauges, thread gauges,
comparators, and other inspection tools.
- Perform First Article Inspections (FAIR) and prepare inspection reports.
- Create and document Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) and support
corrective actions.
- Verify product quality, traceability, and compliance with customer
specifications.
- Maintain accurate inspection records and quality documentation.
- Ensure inspection equipment is properly calibrated.
- Work closely with Engineering and Production to resolve quality issues.
- Support internal audits and continuous process improvement initiatives.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of Quality Inspection experience in a manufacturing
environment.
- Experience in semiconductor, aerospace, medical device, precision
machining, or CNC manufacturing
is highly preferred.
- Hands-on experience operating CMM (manual and/or programmable).
- Strong understanding of GD&T and blueprint reading.
- Experience with First Article Inspection Reports (FAIR).
- Knowledge of NCR, MRB, and RMA processes.
- Experience working in an ISO 9001, ISO 13485, or AS9100 quality
environment.
- Proficient with precision measuring instruments, including calipers,
micrometers, height gauges, pin gauges, and thread gauges.
- Good computer skills, including Microsoft Excel and Word.
- Strong attention to detail, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
