Job Overview:

QUALITY INSPECTOR - Cadillac, MI.

$15.50 per hour

Shifts Available

:

7:00am - 3:00pm Monday - Friday, weekend work as required

Visual inspection of various parts for defects. Use of gages to check parts will be required at times.  MOST JOBS ARE LOCATED IN CADILLAC, MI. but could require travel to other customers outside of Cadillac. Mileage to other locations will be reimbursed.     Requirements of the Traveling Quality Inspector:
  • Must have reliable transportation

  • Must be able to stand for long hours

  • Able to read and write

    Summary of the Quality Inspector:

  • Inspect parts per written instruction supplied by customer or CER Management as effectively and efficiently as possible

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities of the Traveling Quality Inspector:

  • Inspects designated materials by confirming specifications; conducting visual or dimensional inspection; rejecting and recording unacceptable materials

  • Documents inspection results by completing reports and logs

  • Maintains safe and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures; complying with legal regulations

    Education and Experience of the Quality Inspector:

  • High School Diploma / GED preferred

  • Previous inspection experience preferred

  • All applicants must comply to drug screen and background checks if required, provide a valid driver's license and be over the age of 18-years-old

    A successful candidate will be subject to a background check and must receive satisfactory results of the same, as a condition of joining the team.
